Just a second we’re not broken, just bent,
And we can learn to love again...?” - Just Give Me A Reason; P!NK

Hair color: Ari’s natural hair color is a dark chocolate brown, bordering on black. If she leaves it alone, it has a slight wave to it but she usually curls it into gentle locks or straightens it to let it curl only at the ends. Her hair is voluminous and thick and she’s had it at a lot of different lengths – ranging from her ankles to her chin. Now it’s slightly longer than shoulder length and is always styled very carefully and she occasionally takes pleasure in dyeing it different colors.
Build: With a height of 5’8” (1.72 m) and 120 lbs (54 kg), she has a willowy, leggy figure. Ari is gifted with a frame balanced perfectly in between delicate and sturdiness. Neither her bust nor hips are particularly prominent, giving her a more childlike look than womanly look. Her skin is a light olive color that doesn’t burn – thanks to her Greek roots.
Important marks or distinguishing things:
Fashion sense: Very, very good. Working as a model allows Ari to get all the latest fashions for free – not that she doesn’t have more than enough money to get what she wants for herself. Ari likes making sure she looks pristine and perfect, taking great care to make sure that her whole appearance makes her look stunning. Her preferred clothing is actually dresses and skirts as opposed to shorts and jeans. The majority of these show a good bit of leg and emphasize her slim body. Ari has her ears pierced and also, will never be seen without jewelry of some kind. She has a good selection of gold, silver and diamonds on her.

Attention seeking; Ari craves attention and wants people to adore and look up to her. She’ll do anything she can for attention and she’s good at getting it too. With the blood of a succubus, she naturally turns men’s heads and enjoys every moment of it.
Playful; It’s all fun and games for Ari. With her immortality, everything is a game for her. There’ll never be anything less than a seductive smile on her face and a bounce to her step. She’s stopped taking life seriously and expecting something to come out of it for her, she thinks she’s lived through it all already.
Cunning; She can be tricky to deal with. Needing nothing and having lots to give, Ari has everything to gain and nothing to lose. She can easily make you lose focus of your objective and twist you to her will. More often than not, she prefers to make people enter into agreements they really don’t want to, for nothing but the satisfaction that she’d made them do that.
Pleaser; Ari enjoys pleasing others and giving them gifts – assuming she likes them in the first place. She’s a generous and compassionate person and loves seeing smiles on others’ faces – especially if she’s the cause of it all. This, of course, is only to people she knows.
Wise; Having lived for two thousand years, Ari is not the oblivious little girl that she pretends to play. She’s been through almost everything under the sun at least once and she’s got a wealth of experience behind her. She doesn’t get into anything that requires her long-term presence or loyalty unless she’s absolutely sure that it won’t affect her.
Broken and lonely; Her heart’s been broken so many times that it’s still shattered and while she doesn’t like admitting it, it does affect her mannerisms. She refuses to trust anymore and feels extremely lonely and down because of this. Ari doesn’t believe she can love again but is secretly waiting for someone to love her for who she is and not leave her and take her for granted.

They knew the father of the girl to be a soldier in the Spartan army and thus brought him to the prince of Amyklai, Eustathios, declaring her to be the child of Athena and telling him the name declared by her mother. Demanding to see the child’s eyes, he accepted her as soon as he saw her eyes – eyes that resembled her mother’s. What they did not know was that the girl’s mother was actually a succubus and the child on their hands was an immortal warlock. Not even the girl herself knew that she was a warlock and capable of feats greater than a normal human could manage.
Girls normally were forbidden from the art of war and married off early, but since he had been told that the girl had the blood of Athena running through her, Eustathios trained her in the art of war and battle from young. Ari – or Euthalia as she was known then – grew up around men. Although she didn’t undergo the fierce Spartan training that the men went through, she had her own problems. Although she – as both a princess and a girl – was given her own barrack to reside in, she had to constantly fight off advances from other men and listen in on tactics whenever the generals got together, but despite the pressure on her, Euthalia managed to flourish, developing into an lively, rebellious girl who had strength and stamina to spar with men older than her and cunning enough to trick them into letting her win.
When she finally returned to her home at Eustathios’s manor, her father could hardly believe the change that had overcome the fifteen year old. She was youthful and able to hold her own in battle, while possessing a stunning beauty which he ordered her to preserve. His wife had been planning to marry her off, but when she found out that Euthalia never bled, she realized that their daughter was unable to bear them children and then gave up on Euthalia, focusing on the children of her own marriage and not the adopted child. Being a rebellious teenager at the time, she really didn’t care as she was free to live her live however she liked.
The first time she was sent to the battlefield, her father had ordered a team of guards to guard her, with stern warnings not to let her lose her life in her first battle. Euthalia, of course, didn’t like this but could do nothing about it. Little did she know that this battle was the one that would change her life forever. While in an infantry occupied by nervous warriors going into battle for the first time, she was delighted and danced about, easily becoming one of the most fearsome warriors and leading the nervous army to victory with her inexhaustible energy, vigor and cheer. That night, the army celebrated her victory and named her the Warrior Princess. It was the first time she let her guard down, got drunk and lost her virginity. All in one night. Still drunk on her victory and knowing she could not bear children or be married, Euthalia really didn’t care. The mistake that she did make was getting to know the man – Simeon. That was the first time she fell in love with a man and lost him on the battlefield. She knew she couldn’t cry to anyone about this, so she just kept it all to herself.
As she grew older, she kept making the same mistake, having sexual relationships with men and losing them on the battlefield. When she was eighteen, her powers finally surfaced. She hadn’t been taught to use them though, and the only way they manifested themselves was in energy blasts when she really concentrated. It was then that she also stopped aging, keeping the appearance of a girl in her late teens, remaining youthful and radiant. When her father died, his eldest son took over his reign. Being less of a war-centric person, he preferred diplomatic approaches rather than taking areas by force. The presence of the Amyklai army declined and Euthalia suddenly found herself with a lot of free time on her hands – more free time and more time to get into trouble.
Euthalia kept her acquaintances within the army and eventually, an opportunity came up for her to learn about her heritage. It was a man who claimed himself to be a demigod too. He looked no older than she did but managed to prove himself to have abilities similar to her. Called Vasilis, he explained to her how they were actually half demon and not half god, assuring her that they were stronger than any demigod and taught her to cast magic. With him, she spent the next fifty years in apprenticeship, honing her warlock magic to become a proficient magic caster. But she knew her heart wasn’t with magic – it was with battle. And once again she made the critical mistake of falling in love with Vasilis. Their relationship lasted throughout the apprenticeship and ten years after that, when Euthalia found out that he had actually been using her. Disgusted, she killed him in cold blood, a sword in her hand and hatred in her eyes.
After the venture, she returned to Amyklai, feeling hurt and lost, reclaiming her title as the Warrior Princess, the title of being a demigod protecting her from the suspicion that she was immortal. She told them that she aged slowly because of being a demigod, but a further forty years spent in her hometown saw that she was not going to keep the citizens’ suspicions away from her. It was time to leave. It was about then that the Romans had declared war against the Greeks. Going into battle, Euthalia faked her death and dressed as a man, stealing the uniform of a Roman soldier and traversing the Roman empire, adopting the name Halcyone from then on.
She traveled the expansive Roman empire for the next few centuries, using her glamour to hide herself whenever necessary. During her travels, she slowly discovered the world of non-human creatures; vampires, werewolves, other warlocks, shadowhunters and demons, but never once did she try to find her mother. Instead, she traveled east to Asia, touring the continent and earning herself acquaintances from the Asian lands – mostly warlocks and a couple of odd vampires here and there. She never made the mistake of falling in love again – not after Vasilis.
As the world started to progress and fighting became less prominent, Halcyone changed her style, focusing more on her magic than actually fighting, though she did keep her weapons around her – more for keepsakes than anything else. She made her way around the world like that, traveling in human transportation, earning her own money, investing and soon ending up with a good amount of money to sustain herself through the ages. She wasn’t planning on dying anytime soon, which meant that she had to save money. It was one or the other, and before long, she made her way over to Africa to tour the continent. It was there that she learned her love for shiny things and started amassing her collection of diamonds and gold. Before long, she fled the continent once more, realizing that they were about to go into war.
The next place she ended up in happened to be South America – another war ridden place. Adopting the name Kallisto now, she traveled the land, on the lookout for more jewelry and interesting weapons. She knew that she was going to settle down soon – she just had to figure out where. Now it was just to travel and find somewhere to stay. Within the next decade, she’d fallen in love and watched her human lover die of old age. This was the last straw for her. Finally completely torn apart by love, she decided that she was not going to fall in love any longer. No more long term relationships. No more fighting for armies or in a conflict. No more significant others. Nothing.
Early in the nineteenth century, she finally stumbled upon Idris, where she was delighted to find a country where non-human creatures like her didn’t have to hide. Deciding that this was going to be her home, she changed her name once again, choosing the name Arianne – the final name bestowed upon her by her mother – as her permanent name from now on. No more traveling, no more heartbreaks. This was Arianne. And if she died, she was going to die as Arianne.
In the twentieth century, Arianne finally dared to pop her head up in the human world again, delighting in the newfound technology. Unable to resist it, she ended up in Paris, where she was immediately enchanted by the bright lights and the culture there. What else was there to do now but buy herself a nice penthouse and spend her time in Paris? Reveling in the flamboyant culture, the playful, rebellious side of her finally emerged once more as she traveled between Idris and Paris, accepting the position as High Warlock of Paris and taking on the job of a model – under the name Athena Bijou, playing on her so called “heritage”. As of yet, she’s well aware of the Circle’s uprising but is staying neutral, preferring to stay in Paris and focus on her modeling career rather than visit Idris.

She raised an eyebrow at the Libra’s comment but chose not to respond at that moment; she was going to get him back for that on the detention day. No one got away with something like that. As for Tristan though, the kid was actually decent. “I’ll let him know you were looking out for him,” she replied, “the grumpy butt still feels left out because he hasn’t got a division named after him,” not technically, anyways. She could be considered a Sagittarius in a way – hey, why not.
“No can do, see, the child needs to be put in his place every once in a while. You though, dare to see how I’ll administer detention to rude people like him? Might ease your mind.” Echo inquired impishly. “Now go, shoo. If you ever change your mind about Torchics though, gimme a shout. Name’s Echo.”
