I love to read and write, hence the roleplaying. I also enjoy chatting with my friends and love to make new ones. I love to thread with anyone and everyone and often take on more plots than I can handle, but I do it nonetheless. If you have questions, an idea for a plot, or just want to talk don't hesitate to speak up! Here on A Look In The Mirror I play Lilith, Seraphina Morgenstern, Lucian Graymark, and Lily Highsmith.
I'm a mad scientist who enjoys a nice mixture of cooking and science (making Alton Brown my GOD). Writing and reading are passions to me, so that is why roleplaying is also a passion, so I get on about every day. I love anime, so I'm clearly a bit nerdy. Any need for character ideas or help for your apps, ask away, I always have ideas for characters! Here on A Look In The Mirror I play Raziel, Lukas Hexcaster, Alec Lightwood, and Klaus O'Neill.
Coding, drawing and getting distracted - that's me. You'll almost always find me in the chatbox talking about something silly or random - assuming I'm not asleep, of course. I like experimenting with different styles and ideas of roleplaying, so those are always open and I'm up for a roleplay whenever you are! My characters here are Azazel, Arianne, Valentine Morgenstern and Ash Fangcharmer.
The Mortal Instruments universe and all canon characters from the series belong to Cassandra Clare.

Well, what better way to spend the first afternoon off training that by going to visit your mates? Jace's Dad had been seriously kicking him into shape these past few weeks. Not that he felt he needed it, he was awesome anyway, but Jace always pushed himself harder and father than he really needed, and his father simply provided the motivation. But he'd managed to earn himself an afternoon off, and set down his seraph blades to head over to the Lightwoods. For Jace, it was always the first port of call when he was looking for his friends, namely because of Alec, who he;d been best friends with since...well, Jace couldn't ever remember not being friends with Alec. Or Iz, really. Likely Alec would be off with Magnus somewhere, or doing something 'official' now he was classed as an adult, but hanging with Isabelle could be fun too. They were more alike than Jace and Alec in many ways, but Jace loved the competitive nature of it all as well. Perhaps that was just how he viewed it though.
Striding up the Lightwood's stairs to the front door, his blonde hair whipping back behind him slightly in the wind as he took the steps two at a time, dressed in a white shirt, black jeans and black leather jacket, Jace banged on the front door hard with a fist. A couple of seconds passed, out of courteousness more than anything, before he pushed the door open slightly and stepped inside. Aleeeeeeeeeecccccccccc!!!!! Izzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! he yelled, his voice echoing around the manor's entrance hall.

Izzy was in the training room fooling around with her whip as a way to pass the time. Alec was out somewhere with Magnus. As much as Izzy was happy that her brother had found someone, she missed spending time with him and between Magnus and the duties he now had as an adult, he had very little time to spend with his siblings. She sighed softly as she realised she was taking her emotions out on the dummies in the room, but she supposed that was better then anything else. She was glad that her parents where out or her father would surely be having a go at her about her sloppy movements with the whip. She honestly had no idea where Max was but she was sure he was safe anyway. Either way this left her at one alone and seeing as she wasn't technically allowed to leave the house due to her parents hearing about her....actions at the last party she had been at. She knew her parents hated downworlders but she didnt see the problem with most of them, which of course created a lot of problems between them.
She sat down with a sigh. She couldn't say she regretted her actions but she was annoyed at being confined to the house when no one was around. She smiled when she heard a knock at the door, glad that she may have at least some company. Her smile widened to a grin when she heard Jace's voice. She had known him all her life and he was like another brother to her. She placed her whip down and walked out of the training room. "Hey Jace. You really expect Alec to be here?", she asked curiously. "Speaking of which, why are you here? I thought you father had upped your training?" She was sort of jealous. Her father didn't seem so interested in training her so much anymore. It was almost as though her parents no longer wanted her to fight.
((Ooc: hope that's okay sorta got to get back into her character))

((ooc: it's great, and I completely understand! Obviously just trying to get to know Jace myself too! haha))
Jace stood in the front hall, having just called out for Alec and Iz. He would be surprised if neither was home, but he was sure he'd heard some noises coming from down the hall...and then Izzy appeared, poking her head out of the training room and coming to join him. Jace grinned. Figured it was a long shot[/b] he said with a shrug when she asked if he'd really expected Alec to be home. Optimism right there. Jace had...weird feelings on the whole Alec/Magnus thing. Not the fact that Alec was gay...he couldn't have cared less either way. But being born to a member of the Circle, Jace had grown up being taught that Downworlders were not much better than demons. Magnus was a warlock, and in actuality, his magic was something which scared Jace. Well, as much as Jace could be scared of anything. He couldn't do magic, and therefore didn't understand it, and it's that kind of thing that really gets to this shadowhunter. But Magnus...he seemed different, not what Jace had ever expected of a Downworlder, and he could almost feel how happy he made Alec, so he'd grown to accept it all.
As for why Jace was here himself, Yeah, he has. But he's off on some business or other now. And training myself is just booooorrrring![/b] he replied when Izzy asked. He nodded towards the door she had just appeared from. What about you, sounds like you were really going for it in there..[/b] he said, grinning at her before walking forwards to the training room to take a look. It was the same as always, knives and swords and seraph blades lined the walls, and beams with fancy rope systems hung suspended above their heads, where they would practice flips and jumps repeatedly. And along the far wall, the line of dummies Iz had been laying into a minute ago. What's got your whip in a knot?[/b] he asked with a smirk, turning back to look at Iz, having noticed the pattern of her lashings. Izzy's emotions were best read through her fighting, and having grown up training alongside her, Jace knew the signs when she was frustrated or annoyed better than most.

Sept 30, 2013 16:34:02 GMT -7
Jace Herondale: *lands lightly on the floor* yeah, you should stop being lazy, really. Actually, don't stop. If you start training more i don't know how anyone will manage with muscle AND height. Except me, obviously, cause I'll still kick your butt. *grins*
Sept 30, 2013 16:45:37 GMT -7
Lukas Hexcaster: *crosses his arms defensively* I am not lazy! Just because I enjoy reading and studying more than training like you, doesn't mean I'm weak either! *then breaks into a grin* Yeah, whatever blondie. You keep telling yourself that.
Sept 30, 2013 16:59:00 GMT -7
Jace Herondale: Never said you were weak, just weaker than me! Bahahahha bring it on Lukey
Sept 30, 2013 23:38:38 GMT -7
Lukas Hexcaster: What're you going to do? Out fab me with that mop of hair? Why don't you go scrub pots with it, that'll work better than an abrasive. *smirks*
Oct 1, 2013 12:06:28 GMT -7
Jace Herondale: I out fab everyone, everytime. And my hair is soft as a baby's bum, thank you very much! *pouts*
Oct 2, 2013 14:07:39 GMT -7
Lukas Hexcaster: Mhm, okay. Well, good for you, knowing what a baby's bum feels like. *chuckles* Kidding, you know I love you. *pats his back*
